Our Complaints Policy

Principles:
At the Academy of Ancient Music, we take complaints seriously. We seek to ensure that complaints are:

  • listened to and investigated thoroughly
  • acknowledged speedily and recorded
  • dealt with in an appropriate, fair and timely manner
  • learned from.

We make it easy for members of the public to make a complaint via our website, by phone, or in writing. We will acknowledge all complaints within three working days and arrange a full response within 10 working days.

The Fundraising Regulator and the Academy of Ancient Music
We are a member of the Fundraising Regulator (FR). The FR is the body for self-regulation of fundraising in the UK. The FR scheme is open to all fundraising organisations. As a member of the FR, the Academy of Ancient Music agrees to adhere to the highest standards of good practice with our fundraising and a Fundraising Promise. If you believe the Academy of Ancient Music has breached the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Fundraising Practice you can, if you wish, make a complaint directly to the Fundraising Regulator.
