A musical masterwork, Bach’s St John Passion is a cornerstone of Western musical art. The music is full of excitement, yet carefully paced, driven forward by the ‘turba’ (crowd) choruses, in between which, Bach shows his mastery matching instrumental colour to individual voices. AAM joins Ensemble Vocal de Villars-sur-Glâne, Chœur du Collège Ste-Croix and Jérôme Kuhn for two performances: in Planfayon and Villars-sur-Glâne.
