AAM to follow up global digital success with new season of live-streams

Academy of Ancient Music will live-stream all five of its 21/22 Milton Court Concert Hall performances around the world through its AAM Live channel.

AAM Live was launched in February 2021 as a response to the pandemic and its overwhelming success has led to the decision to continue with a ‘hybrid’ model, offering audiences the option of both concert hall and live relay. Tickets for each stream cost £12.50 and a season pass for all five is £50, with concerts available to view for 48 hours.

Chief Executive John McMunn said, ‘During lockdown AAM Live threw a vital life-line to audiences and musicians alike, and I’m delighted that we will be able to continue to offer it alongside in-person tickets for our 21/22 season in London and Cambridge. For nearly 50 years, AAM has been known internationally for the quality of both its audio recordings and its live performances. Offering this hybrid, digital experience to audiences across the globe is the obvious next step, and one which I hope will provide comfort and enjoyment to our followers – wherever they may be – as our industry continues to recover from the ravages of COVID.’
