AAM performs first-ever complete Brandenburgs in China

The AAM has today given the first performance of the complete Brandenburg Concertos in China, to a packed-out Shanghai Concert Hall. AAM Chief Executive Michael Garvey said that the orchestra was "deeply honoured to be making musical history in this way", and added that it was "truly exciting to be bringing baroque music to the widest international audience".

In May the AAM will return to the Far East for an eight-concert tour with Korean superstar soprano Sumi Jo. Visiting venues in Taiwan, China, Singapore and South Korea, the AAM will aim to raise the profile of baroque audience within a new and rapidly-expanding audience.
